Welcome to Shorecrest High School’s Dual Language Program, a unique educational program designed to create bilingual, biliterate, high-achieving, and socioculturally competent learners.
Our program follows an 80/20 model. The model starts in Kindergarten through second grade, with 80% of the instructional time in Spanish and 20% in English. In third grade and beyond, the instruction is 50% in Spanish and 50% in English. Our classrooms offer strong support for every student’s journey to bilingualism.
For the 2025-26 school year, the Dual Language Program serves students in 9th grade and will advance each school year until grades 9-12 offer Dual Language courses.
