Gridiron Group Mission: Support the entire football team & community; players, coaches, parents, to build a positive culture by assisting in the off-field activities and events.
LEAD POSITIONS:
Chair/Co-Chair: Lead contact person to work directly with coaching staff and athletic department. Helps to plan off-field activities and events for the season. General point of contact for the group and the football team.
Team Dinner Lead: In charge of planning the “Thursday” team dinners for the team. Plans meal train & menu, and assists in creating “Perfect Potluck” sign-up.
Social Media/Facebook Page Lead: Responsible for keeping the Facebook Gridiron Page up to speed with team announcements, parent gatherings, upcoming events, game pics and updates.
Booster Liaison: Helps in linking the football team and Boosters. Assists in gathering of team items for SC Booster Auction (Spring Time).

§ Rotary Cup Event: (Shirts/Pre-Game Meeting)
§ Team Photographer (Team functions/Player headshots/event pics) *Not Varsity Games
§ Team Program/Game Roster

The main focus is to have a support group that makes the overall “experience” a positive one for our players. Coaches can only handle so much during the season, and are reliant on families and the support of parents to build a strong culture and community.
