The committee is seeking a community member representative and a student representative to join this committee starting spring 2024 and continuing through (at least) the 2024-25 school year.

Per Shoreline School District Board Policy 7260, money, materials, or equipment with an aggregate value of $5,000 or greater shall be subject to the Gifts, Grants, and Donations Policy Committee for review and board approval.

The committee is seeking a community member representative and a student representative to join this committee starting spring 2024 and continuing through (at least) the 2024-25 school year. We recommend that the student representative be a current high school sophomore or junior in order to serve on the committee for at least one full school year.

The committee receives emails describing the donation. Committee members are asked to submit questions or concerns prior to making a decision to approve or deny the donation(s). Once the donation(s) have been approved, they are presented to the superintendent and the School Board for final approval.
